"Buying bus and ferry tickets could be made easier. Put signs up showing which shops sell the tickets. The bus staff were answering the same questions over and over - signs would prevent this. "

"Place is wonderful but with no public transportation or taxi allowed inside the city, is really bad specially if the stay was up on hills. also service personnel (in bank, bus, shop, café, beach...) were not friendly at all."

"The Amalfi Coast is an amazing place to visit. Friendly and forthcoming people everywhere. The bus service is excellent. However, inadequate capacity. Some places, two buses are leaving simultaneously in the morning rush, but only one bus is set up for the afternoon departures back. This results in overcrowded buses, that have to leave travelers behind.
Amalfi in the peak season is not suited for everyone. I can highly recommend Amalfi as a tour destination, but not in the peak season. "

"Transport and regulation of the passengers was disgraceful. The transport staff were rude, argumentative, unreliable and in some cases dangerous.
Also the shop owners were generally rude and uninviting.
Very disappointing after travelling from Australia.
I found most people in Amalfi were not considerate of the tourist trade. It was like it was an inconvenience.
Taxi drivers were charging over and above the standard fares..
Happy to discuss further.

"The transportation has a lot of areas of improvement. There are no queues for the buses or the ferris and this make people to fight for a place. Also, the roads are extremely narrow and the buses very big which makes it hard for the drivers. The buses and ferris don’t have any signals and the timetables are not accurate. "
