"Amalfi est victime du surtourisme. Les rues sont bondées et les commerces se succèdent, n'offrant que des produits standardisés "made in china" à des prix défiant toute concurrence. C,est vraiment dommage. Il faudrait réguler l'afflux de tourisme et inciter les commercants et restaurateurs à plus de modération dans leurs tarifs."

"La ciudad es muy linda, en general limpia. Las indicaciones sobre paradas y valores del transporte no existen y está mal organizado. Dos comerciantes intentaron cobrarme recargo extra por pagar con tarjeta de crédito. "

"Everything good except trying to buy a bus ticket. It seemed unhelpful when the tabacchi did not sell them and unfriendly when they said they did not know where they are sold. The SITA office did not sell them, and just said look for my friend in the green vest. The TI office said there would be a man in a green vest just outside the door. Eventually we found the man in a green vest sitting inside a parked bus. So that process seemed chaotic and generally contemptuous of tourists. Everything else about Amalfi I would say is great."

"We have been the seventh time for hiking around the Amalfi Island and we love it.
However the signage of the hiking trails is an absult disaster and need an urgent improvement "

"You need a better way to buy bus tickets for tourists….especially in the evening….no machine, no office, no information and no one to help when app doesn’t work "

"Public transportation is horrible and not reliable at all. Mass tourism has unfortunately damaged the region charm. I will for sure not come back or recommend the region to anyone."
